FAQ

  • What is a blood-type-based diet and how does it differ from the ImmunoHealth™ Program?

The ImmunoHealth™ Program has nothing in common with the blood type-based diet. At one point, being the first step in the understanding of the nutritional individuality, before the emergence of more precise laboratory technologies, the blood-type-based diet divided people into only four types. The current population of the United States is composed of an large number of ethnicities, each and every one of which has its own genetic particularities, including a dominant blood type, history and nutritional culture formed over centuries. However, each individual representative has his own individual enzyme makeup, product-antagonists, immune reactions and his very own set of chronic illnesses. Currently, the problem of nutritional adaptation is being solved on the individual level with much more precision. In our clinic, based on the BloodScan Test™, an individual program of nutritional adaptation takes into account not only the most delicate individual differences, but even the most delicate and minute changes within the same individual over the period of the most individual of all restoration programs.

  • How does your program differ from other diets and nutritional programs?

The ImmunoHealth™ Program views each patient as an individual. The ImmunoHealth™ Program significantly differs from any other diets and nutritional programs because the main criteria of food product selection for a certain individual takes into account the immune system reactions of that very person to a particular product. The calories and ingredients of the product are also important, but that is a criterion of secondary importance. All the traditional methods of healthy nutrition start “working” effectively only after the product-antagonists have been excluded from the diet. The ImmunoHealth™ Program allows for the detection of these products with maximum precision, which is still the subject of disagreements and arguments between specialists. The program includes a methodology of including the important and timely corrections into the diet, while taking into account the immune system changes. This provides for the highest percentage of positive results.

  • Can the dietary test be done on infants?

There is no point in doing the dietary test on infants. Throughout the breastfeeding process, the mother’s antibodies are functioning in the infant’s organism, and they may be the cause of the emerging pathological reactions. In such a case, the mother’s diet should be tested and corrected. Therefore, we recommend that the mother contacts the ImmunoHealth™ clinic for her personal nutrition program. Experience indicates that a correction of the mothers’ diet shows results within 3-4 weeks.

  • If I decide to lose weight, how long will it take for results to show?

If you are overweight, that is caused by the deceleration of liquids in the tissues in most cases. That portion of excess weight usually quickly goes away during the first 2-3 weeks. In some cases, weight may decrease by 20-30 pounds (in people with a lot of excess weight). After 1.5- 2 months, your weight will start decreasing more slowly and intermittently, interchanging with the adaptation periods.

  • How long have you been applying this program and what results did it yield?

In Russia, this method started being used by the authors 15 years ago. In Europe this method has been used for 5 years and has yielded exceptionally good results. The number of our patients is constantly increasing. Mainly, the program has been recommended to every new patient by a previous patient. For additional information, go to www.drvolkov.ru and www.role.ee. The International and US patents for the methodology belong to the ImmunoHealth™ Company.

  • What is the difference between your clinic and other similar ones?

On the US market, the food testing services based on the immunosorbent assay (ELISA IgG) are usually conducted remotely, meaning that the serum is sent to a laboratory for testing. The patient receives a written response from the laboratory with recommendations, but consultations and overseeing of the process are usually not done. The main difference between our clinic and laboratories lies in the US-patented method of the BloodScan Test™ result processing, which allows for the precise determination of product-antagonists that cause the hidden food intolerance phenomenon. The US-patented, ImmunoHealth™ Program methodology includes dynamic monitoring of the process and for supporting the patients. The method includes mandatory corrections of the diet throughout the entire restoration period. All of that allows for the high level of positive, long-lasting results of the treatment, which is 86% to 95% effective based on the different types of pathologies. The testing of the products by allergists, dermatologists and pediatricians has another goal – the elimination of specific, alien food allergens that are responsible for peculiar manifestations.

  • How many products are being tested? Why these products in particular?

Currently, based on the BloodScan Test™, we are testing 96 core products. The basic list is constantly expanding, with the derivatives of basic products being added (for example, if olives are allowed, then so is olive oil: if malt, beer yeast and barley are allowed, then so is beer). The test panel for ELISA is created in the United States based on those food products that are statistically most widely consumed. The list of products being tested based on BloodScan Test™

  • What is included in the cost of the service?

The cost of the ImmunoHealth™ Program, designed for 16 weeks, includes the testing (BloodScan Test™), medical processing of the results based on a special BloodScan Research ™ program via the patented algorithm, the development of an individual diet program for the next 4 months, a thorough instructive consultation with a specialist, and, if necessary, additional testing and the ability to receive specialist advising throughout the duration of the whole ImmunoHealth™ Program about any questions you may have. The program also includes one corrective consultation during the 4-month period. The cost also includes a sample of a personal menu for a week, consisting of the allowed products. Additionally, you may order recipes from us, which correspond to your allowed products and receive consultations from our qualified diet specialists. These services are paid for based on the size of the order. The program and testing are not covered by insurance.

  • If I lose weight, how long will the effect last?

The program does not allow for the endurance of hunger. The main effect takes place because the organism is getting rid of pathological “reserves”, which have been built up throughout lifetime. Because the weight loss does not happen because of muscle loss and the organism does not get rid of any beneficial resources (which usually are fast to restore), that kind of weight loss is easy to go through and remains stable. However, it is possible to lose these accomplishments. The program helps change your lifestyle for the better – that is its main goal. In most cases, it corrects diet behavior forever.

  • Under what conditions there is no point in doing the BloodScan Test™ and going through the ImmunoHealth™ Program or one should wait to do both?

Often the resistance to the rebuilding of the organism comes from medications, which have in their ingredients any steroids or reproductive hormones. There is no point in giving a blood sample during a religious fasting, while being on certain diets, right after the consumption of alcohol or after significant overeating. The day before testing should be an average day, in terms of food intake. Also, there is no point in giving the blood sample soon after taking medications, or a course of antibiotics – the results of the test will not be accurate. During a strong infection, testing should be postponed. The treatment is not recommended for patients with bio-transplants. A rapid increase in immune system activity can stimulate a rejection reaction. Immunologic depressants, radiation treatment, and chemotherapy alter the immune system reactions. Based on such data, it is impossible to build a program. It is better to do the testing before starting treatment. The main thing is to contact us for clarification of all conditions and contra indications before testing.

  • Is alcohol consumption allowed after testing?

If you want to see significant results, you have to create maximally comfortable conditions for your organism. You should refrain from the consumption of alcohol and vinegar for a period no shorter than 2-3- months. These products significantly affect the absorption and permeability of the intestinal wall. We will then help you find the most “suitable” type of alcohol for you, determined on the basis of your individually-allowed products. For example, if you like whiskey, but you can’t have barley; we will suggest that you switch to corn-based types. The same goes for wine and vodka. If you have a strong immune reaction to tannin, then we will suggest that you refrain from consuming the wines made out of red grapes (cognacs are also in this category), and switch to white wines, gin, rum, calvados, sake, or tequila – our specialists will help you create your own personal “wine map”. Your reactions to different types of alcohol have a great deal to do with your tolerance to the base products.
